Class 2 is made up of both Year 1 and Year 2 pupils  and covers all of Key Stage One. 

 

The Key Stage One curriculum is followed in all subjects but is highly differentiated to suit the range of abilities within the class. We plan a two year curriculum in order to avoid repetition and to ensure that each pupil will have year on year progression of skills and knowledge and experience a wide range of activities.

 

Children enjoy their time in Class 2 and results over time, at the end of Key Stage One, show that most make excellent progress. We adopt a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners and aim to make lessons interesting and enjoyable.
